Birth

The other night my guild decided to throw a surprise party for Mabon and me. Mabon and I were out shopping and ran into Mabon’s mother Aelsa. We were both surprised to see her in Darnassus. When asked Aelsa told us she came to help Mabon do some shopping. After a little bit of shopping we decided to head back to our loft. Upon our arrival were shocked to see so many people in our home. The party itself was alright. We talked for a bit and even played a game called Truth or Dare. It is a rather odd game if you ask me but I went along with it.

At one point of the evening Chirak departed from the party and came back using his Orb of Deception. He looked like a giant Tauren. Mabon was so frightened at the sight that she ran off and hid herself in the shadows. We had to persuade her that it was mealy a deception and that he was of no real danger. As the night went along I grew pretty tires and I could tell the others were getting restless. So we decided to call it a night and everyone went their separate ways.

Everyone save one. Arcadon had fallen asleep on our balcony. By the time we had decided to go wake him up he rose with a start and took off with a quick goodbye. After he left I told Mabon that I was ready to go to bed. However she didn’t think we’d be getting much sleep. When I asked why all she told me was that it was time. When I asked what it was time for she just laughed and told me it was time for the dragons to arrive.

Calmly I asked if she was sure, how long she’s been having pains, and when did the pains start. She said that when Chirak came up and was dressed like a Tauren that she had started then. I’m sure my face showed that I was more than amazed at how long ago that had been. I then asked her why she waited so long to tell me and all she had to say was that we’ve never really had a party end on a good note and didn’t want to spoil the evening. I helped lay Mabon down and quickly went to fetch the mid-wife.
